Written Assessments

Applicants usually take a written assessment. This is often required before an interview, at a test centre (usually your school), but sometimes it happens at interview, depending on the Course. Full details are given here.

The assessment is subject-specific and gauges an applicant’s abilities and potential for their course.

In addition, some Colleges ask applicants for some courses to submit examples of their written work – one or two school/college essays – which may then be discussed at interview.

Candidates need to be registered in advance for pre-interview assessments by their test centre, so students and teachers should check online for information on deadlines and how to register via the link above.
